CTICC expansion to go ahead

According to the announcement at the Annual General Meeting of the Cape Town International Convention Centre, the planned expansion will now go ahead, and the tender award will stand. Event Signs and Signage for 6th World Congress of Pediatric Cardiology

HOTT3D were commissioned in March of 2012 to plan, design and produce the event signs and signage for the 6th World Congress of Pediatric Cardiology, which was recently completed at the CTICC in Cape Town, South Africa. The CTICC is a large, linear venue. Deciding how best to ensure 3500 international delegates knew where to go during their visit was no easy task. Exhibition Design – Optiphi and Leenyx @ World Congress of Aesthetic Medicine

The 19th World Congress of Aesthetic Medicine (WCAM2013) was recently held at the CTICC in Cape Town.  We were contracted by Optiphi and Leenyx to produce their 6m x 3m corner exhibits at the event. Both are constructed using Octanorm Maxima as the structure. Cape Town Convention Centre Expansion Plans

Construction work is expected to commence by mid-2013, and will be completed at the end of 2015. The development will cost approximately R4.5 billion, adding an additional 49 000m⊃2; of lettable space to the Cape Town Convention Centre (CTICC). CTICC management have already secured the 10 000-delegate strong 35th International Geological Congress for August 2016, which will require use of the full expanded convention space soon to be built.
